Taste Of The Coast Fundraiser To Benefit ‘Children Today’

Long Beach Kids Connection will host its 3rd Annual Taste of the Coast Sunday, August 1 from 3-7 p.m. on the Belmont Veterans Memorial Pier.
The fundraising event, part of the 2010 Long Beach Sea Festival, supports high quality, no-cost child care and preschool for children experiencing homelessness in Long Beach through “Children Today.” In 2009, Taste of the Coast raised more than $45,000.
Taste of the Coast include tasteful delights from more than 40 Long Beach restaurants, live music, fireboat show, beer and wine garden, kids activities and more. Ticket prices are: $50 Adults, $20 Teens, $10 Child (12 and under).
The goal of “Children Today” is to increase the safety, stability and confidence of children facing homelessness and provide quality early care and education programs absolutely free of charge.
